I am an innovative, creative designer with 20 years experience in print and web design. In my current position, I am responsible for Internet Marketing, including search engine optimization, Responsive HTML and web site promotion.
I joined Liquid Motors, a start-up company in Richardson, as a graphic/web designer. During my time here, I've created a variety of marketing materials, eCampaigns, trade shows, websites, and training materials. I designed and developed data driven eBay templates, window stickers, condition reports, and buyers guides using HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, XML, JavaScript, and ASPX replacement tags. I've planned, designed, and implemented more than 50 websites for Liquid Motors' customers.
I moved to Dallas to work for Lawfinders Associates, a law firm specializing in litigation coaching, dispositive motions strategy, and appeals in state and federal courts. This company offered a variety of services to lawyers which included website and logo design. In addition to designing Lawfinders' corporate website, I also created eCampaigns and print marketing materials. I was also developed a marketing campaign targeting corporate firms who were audited by the Business Software Alliance.
After Enron collapsed, I worked with small start-up company that focused on marketing and web design. I worked with a team of developers to create a Flash-based Internet site for HitState Media that was standards compliant, SEO optimized, and multi-browser compatible. It's at this company that I gained a lot of experience in logo design. I also consulted with outside clients to establish their branding and website presence.
After cutting my teeth at Retriever, I moved onto Enron Networks where I worked with a group of technical writers. We created internal content which included PowerPoint presentations, training materials, and an online monthly newsletter. After a few months, my team was re-organized and I was reassigned to web design group. I created Intranet websites for internal departments after receiving training in HTML, CSS, and Flash.
I started at Retriever Payment Systems as a college intern and worked my way up to graphic designer. During those two years, I worked with a team of graphic designers in an in-house print shop. I created business cards, flyers, magazine ads, posters, postcards, trade show booths, and training materials. By the time I left, I had learned all the ins and outs of graphic design including full-bleeds, leading, kerning, prepress checks, trapping, pantone colors, cut lines, and film processing.
